Sewing taster for children: Garlands and Bunting

April 3 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Suitable for: 10- to 12-year-olds. An introductory taster. Tutor: experienced quilter and former teacher Coral Bell. Materials: If you have a bag of buttons, scraps, ribbons you would like to bring along and use you are welcome, otherwise all materials and everything needed is in our workroom and ready and waiting for you! Appliqué Club with Diane

Suitable for: Beginners Dates/times: This activity runs on four Fridays in April and May: 6th April, 13th April, 27th April and 4th May. 10.30am till 4.00pm. Materials: 1m of background materials, scraps of different patchwork cottons, threads and a sewing kit with small, sharp scissors. Cost of course excludes these materials. Sewing tasters for children: Crazy Quilting

Suitable for: Bigger kids; a taster for 12- to 16-year-olds. Tutor: Coral Bell, an experienced quilter and former teacher. Materials: see full description below. The Challenge: Bargello

Suitable for: Advanced quilters Two-day class: 10.30am – 4.30pm each day Tutor: Diane Smyth. This semester Diane is offering two challenges: Lone Star and Bargello.
