Understanding sewing patterns
February 29 @ 10:30 am - 4:30 pm£45
This small class is suitable for a confident beginner who has some sewing experience. You will be making a toile (a calico practice run) of your chosen pattern on the day, learning the best pattern adjustments and getting it properly fitted and ready to make into your final garment. Hopefully, you will also be cutting your material and preparing to sew for your final garment on the day.
The emphasis is on getting the best out of your pattern and making a toile fit and preparing you for an excellent final finish on the garment. This is a small class of six, with tutor Gill McBride.
